In 2024, the 25th VinAgora International Wine Competition ran smoothly, without any issues. A total of 877 entries were submitted for the competition, three-quarters of which originated from hungarian wine regions. Samples from 14 different countries awaited the judgment of the international jury to be poured into the glasses. The high quality of the wines are reflected in the large number of gold medals awarded compared to all the medals, as the judges rated 23% of the entered wines as gold and only 6% as silver. According to the finalized score limits, the top 30% were rewarded with 53 silver, 203 gold, 9 grand gold, and 7 Champion medals keeping the medal distribution rules.
